💭 My thoughts...

3/5 stars

A lovely wholesome romance with a very scenic backdrop that the author did a great job of capturing in her writing. I particularly enjoyed the photography aspect of the story, as it allowed for extra exploration of the physical surroundings of the story.

Gage's family were a lovely addition to the story and made the book feel very cozy, but I struggled to connect with Aurora and Gage themselves on a level that I'm used to as a romance reader. I think this was stunted because of the politeness of the writing style - it felt a bit formal and distant at times, which killed some of the chemistry that was building between the two main characters.

Sweet, easy to read, but not overly memorable or impactful for me.

📖 Synopsis...

Photographer Aurora Daniels gets stranded on a job in Alaska and is taken in my local hotelier, Gage Weston. As she explores his ranch and awaits the Northern Lights, she discovers that the place she's been avoiding might just be the place to heal her heart.
