💭 My thoughts...
5/5 stars
I have been resistant to reading Elsie Silver books for a while now, out a sheer stubborness about not wanting to jump on the bandwagon. Well, it turns out I was entirely wrong.
Wild Love was a fantastic romance, full of witty banter, steamy chemistry and emotional turmoil. My enjoyment of the book was absolutely enhanced by listening to the audiobook - it actually had me laughing out loud in my car on a long road trip.
The author employed well-known tropes such as single dad and brother's best friend with clever twists that made them feel fresh and exciting. I particularly enjoyed Cora as a character.
In short, the only issue I had with this book is that it ended, and I immediatly bought the rest of the series, and all of Chestnut Springs to immerse myself in more of Elsie Silver's writing.
